The brief 

 To work with design agency Them to create attention-grabbing artwork for the walls in and outside the Roundhouse that could signpost people around the venue and tell a story that brought together the building's identity as a home for world-class live music and theatre with it's groundbreaking creative work with young people - so that visitors knew what they were supporting when buying  a ticket.

The approach

I created a story concept and messaging that used the central image of a machine to show how, just by coming to a show at the Roundhouse, gig and theatre-goers are investing in the star musicians and performers of the future. Both the idea and the copy drew on the building's history of connections to industry and engineering, and the Roundhouse's reputation for innovation.
